Tema Lube Oil Company Limited (TLOC) is the premier Lubricant Blending Plant to be established in Ghana to enhance the country’s economic and development programme. The main raw materials used to blend lubricants are imported base oils, and proprietary additives provided by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). The Company also manufactures steel drums for packaging of the lubricants, and for sale.
The Plant is geographically located in the Heavy Industrial Area of Tema, about 24 kilometres east of Accra, the capital city of Ghana.
About us
TLOC was established as a result of a decision of the Government of Ghana in 1986 to build a Lubricant Blending Plant in the country. The Government contracted Agip Petroli of Italy to design and construct the Plant. The construction of the Plant was completed in 1991.

What we do
TLOC blends and packages lubricants under franchise for distribution to OMCs. The Company also manufactures steel drums for packaging the lubricants and other uses.
